Waterproof cases for iOS devices are all the rage at CES 2013. And one the pioneers in the field, LifeProof, is showing off real-world uses for its products at the show.

The company’s booth was divided into six zones – education, first responders, kitchen, winter sports, outdoor/biking and medical/professional – to show how its products can be used.

And Dom Esposito stopped at LifeProof’s booth at CES to hear a little history behind the company and to take a look at some of LifeProof’s offerings.

The waterproof and ultra-ruggged LifeProof frē case for the iPhone 5 is branching out with new color choices, including cyan, magenta, and gray and black combination. New accessories include a belt clip, bike/car mount, armband/swimband floating LifeJacket, and a car mount for hands-free driving.

Winner of one of the top CES Innovations award at this year’s show, the LifeProof nüüd case for iPad now comes in black and white. Along with a floating LifeJacket, users can also purchase a hand/shoulder strap.

You can find out more about the company and products on its site.
