Stuart Hughes, the premium iPhone specialist has designed an iPhone worth 10 million pounds. Stuart Hughes, well known for creating not just Apple gadgets in precious metals studded with gems has worked on various other devices in the past.

His latest creation, the Black Diamond iPhone 5 is the most precious of all and also took him the longest. The iPhone 5 took the designer over 9 months to make and the entire phone is hand-carved. Priced at 10 million pounds, Stuart is confident that the iPhone is the most expensive phone in the world.

The phone was commissioned by a Chinese individual, who is also the owner of the black diamond. The businessman needed a perfect mix of technology and beauty and what better way to flaunt your diamonds than on the latest Apple gadget?

The entire iPhone case is made out of pure, 24 karat solid gold. The Apple logo and the edges of the phone are studded with real white diamonds. As seen in the pictures, the lgo has a slight elevation of gold around the edges, making it stand-out. The gold-ridge also acts as means to define and hold the diamonds. The logo itself has 53 white diamons fitted on it. Including the bezel and side-frames, there are a total of 600 diamonds on the phone! Phew!

The beauty is complete with a diamond-studded, gold

However, the highlight of the phone is the ‘Black Diamond’ which is nestled in the front of the phone. The ‘home’ button has been replaced by a beautiful black diamond weighing 26 karats. To add to the beauty of the device, the Black Diamond home button is surrounded by a circle of diamonds set in gold. The overall effect is mesmerising and stunning.

We’re sure the Chinese businessman will guard the phone with his life and not let it slip out of pockets or forget it behind. However, we cannot stress on the importance of carefulness here. Though the device is beautiful par excellence, we just hope the owner does not regret his decision as the launch of iPhone 5S is just a few months away... 10 million for an obsolete phone might not be such a wise business decision, eh?
