New parents, you're going to want to check out today's first app worth downloading. It's HonestBaby, a useful app for tracking information about your baby's growth, development, feeding, as well as a good tie-in to Honest.com if you use that site. We've also got an update to National Parks by National Geographic, which adds five more parks and a ton of information about each, plus more levels for Angry Birds Star Wars that take players to the cloudy world of Bespin.

HonestBaby (Free Apps)

What’s it about? Use your iPhone or iPad to track important information about your baby, like feeding times, daily activities and doctor visits.

What’s cool? There can be a lot of information to keep track of when you have a new baby, especially if you need to chart the info doctors might need to make sure everything is going well. HonestBaby helps out in that regard by providing a lot of ways that parents can track stats about their babies – things like how much your baby is sleeping, how often you're changing diapers, your baby's feeding schedule, and more. HonestBaby is an app from TheHonestCompany, which has an online store for ordering baby supplies such as diapers and the like; if you have an account on Honest.com, you can link it to the app and use it for managing your subscriptions and account.

Who’s it for? If you're a new parent or use Honest.com, HonestBaby is for you.

What’s it like? Try Baby Feeding Log and iBabyLog for more baby-tracking capabilities.

What’s it about? Get all the information you need about U.S. national parks from National Geographic, including maps, point-of-interest rundowns and huge photo galleries.

What’s cool? National Geographic's National Parks app is just packed with useful information, ranging from maps and photos to help planning a trip to any of a number of America's National Parks. The app is a perfect traveling companion, with points of interest tagged with GPS information to make them easy to find when you're visiting, and photo galleries to give you an idea of what to expect. The lists of activities you should do and places you should see are curated by the National Geographic staff, and the app's latest update adds five more parks to the already bursting app.

Who’s it for? If you're planning a trip to a National Park – or if you're just interested in them – check out National Geographic's highly useful app.

What’s it like? Try National Parks Companion for more help and information when actually visiting national parks, and Fotopedia National Parks if you'd rather enjoy them through photos from the comfort of your own home.

Angry Birds Star Wars update ($0.99)

What’s it about? The Star Wars-themed re-imagining of Angry Birds continues to provide great content from a galaxy far, far away.

What’s cool? Angry Birds Star Wars is among the best arcade titles on iOS, surpassing even its predecessors in smart level design. Mixing in Star Wars characters means that while you play Angry Birds Star Wars just like other Angry Birds titles, by flinging the birds toward structures to knock them down, each of the birds has a new special ability to that alters the strategy you need to use with them. The app's newest update continues to dump in new levels based on The Empire Strikes Back, with players visiting the floating mining colony of Cloud City on Bespin in the latest 20 stages.

Who’s it for? If you like Angry Birds, Star Wars, or having fun and playing games at all, you should be playing Angry Birds Star Wars.

What’s it like? Try Angry Birds Space for another space-themed version of the formula, and Catapult King for a more three-dimensional take.
