The image above shows the much larger front panel positioned alongside an iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s handset, that contains similar characteristics, including proximity sensor, ear speaker, cutouts for a front-facing camera, and with preserving the usual positioning for the Home button. In line with earlier rumors, the front panel features a notably thinner bezel.
Apple’s next-generation iPhone are expected to reach the market in later this year, which may ship in two different sizes: 4.7-inch iPhone in September followed by a larger 5.5-inch model shortly after. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek reported that Apple is negotiating with carriers for a $100 price increase on the iPhone 6 as the device gets larger and with more technology into it.
Besides to larger screen, next generation-iPhone are expected to sport an ultra-thin design with rounded edges. It may include A8 processor with 1GB RAM, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and an upgraded camera featuring optical image stabilization.
