Spansive is a company in the smartphone chargers industry, it comes with an innovative wireless charging device aimed at families and households allowing them to charge multi phones and "eliminates ugly cable clutter."
The Spansive Source is able to charge up to four Qi-enabled devices at one time, and the user doesn't have to place their device exactly on the surface, depending on what the company called "Drop-N-Charge."
To create the Source that allows charging four smartphones or any other Qi-based device at once, Spansive says it uses "software-designed induction to shape magnetic fields" using 3D charging field that can "sense where devices are located."
"Regardless of phone case" the technology used in the Source allows to charge your iPhone even with a thicker case such as OtterBox, and also with the present of PopSocket or other accessory attachments.
Spansive Source in addition to the space to charge four Qi-based smartphones wirelessly, it features two USB-A ports for charging other accessories, which means the capacity to charge six devices at once.
The Source charger connects to the home's Wi-Fi setup allowing it to receive over-the-air firmware updates, which will enable the company to improve the charging speed, charging range, and the compatibility with future devices, as Spansive mentions.
At the moment the faster 7.5W charging specifications are not supported, iPhone users, with the Source, are able to charge their devices at 5W.
Spansive Source is made with “smooth touch materials, laser-etched aluminum, and an anti-slip lining", and is available in two colors: white and charcoal. The new wireless charger is on sale now from the Spansive website for $189
