New iPhone case "Wello" unveiled from Science and technology company Azoi allowing users to track various human metrics such as blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, temperature and more. the Wello health monitoring case for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s.

The case itself features a thin design, includes a microprocessor along with two sensors on its rear. When you hold your fingers for a few seconds over designated holes on the back of the case that represent the sensors, you will get accurate reading of how much your health has changed on a day-to-day or a monthly basis, all these data appearing on a companion app. Multiple user data can be recorded within the app, so this case can be used by the entire family.

The case connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth 4.0. The company states that the Wello can sync with accessories such as a Wi-Fi scale and other fitness trackers, and contains a battery that lasts up to two months on a single charge.

Many rumors stated that Apple's wearable iWatch device which is reportedly in development for a release later this year could perhaps incorporate optical sensors -like Wello case- to measure physical functions such as heart rate and oxygen levels. iOS 8 also rumored to be including "Healthbook" app that has related with health and fitness.




Wello is available for pre-order now in a number of countries. It is expected to retail for $199 in the U.S. Azoi plans to launch the product later this year pending approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Those who pre-order early will also receive a free spirometer attachment to measure lung functions.
