New people in emoji

After the release of iOS 12 last month which contains many new features and tweaks like huge performance improvements, group FaceTime, Screen Time, Grouped Notification new Animojis. iOS secondary or fraction updates sometimes contains interesting and exciting features, such as what happens with iOS 12.1 which will include new emojis.

Apple seeded the second beta of iOS 12.1 to developers and testers last week which includes new emojis that supposed to use at the update release. Among the new emoji characters, we find a face with hearts, cold face, red hair, white hair, no hair, llama, swan, parrot, cupcake, and more.

Over the last few years emoji characters have gained popularity among iOS’s uses and other platform customers, barely we end a message thread without using one of them, many users are looking forward eagerly to see what's new.

New emoji that iOS 12.1 update will bring include a range of categories like people, faces, animals, food, household objects. MacRumors’s Juli Clover depicted these emojis and categorized them as is demonstrated below.
New faces: Face with hearts, hot face, cold face, partying face, woozy face, and pleading face.

  
New people: Man/woman with red hair, man/woman with white hair, man/woman with curly hair, man/woman with no hair, superhero (male and female), and supervillain (male and female).

The update in addition to new emoji characters will include some tweaks and improvement to existing ones, the most prominent change is adopting of new iPhone XS layout instead of iPhone 8, namely, no Home button or bezels.

These emojis Apple will add in iOS 12.1 already released in Unicode 11 in June of 2018, those raw emojis takes some time for each one to be tweaked and implemented as occurring with Apple and other tech companies.

New emojis release takes a periodic update, Unicode 12 which will Apple launch in 2019 is already in the works, the new Unicode 12 pack includes white heart, flamingo, ax snorkel, orangutan, sloth, butter, onion, ice cube, chair, kite, waffle, oyster, otter, and more.

Apple is working with Unicode consortium to add more emojis related to disability, as it says.

The public release of iOS 12.1 with new emojis included into it is not quite clear, but the end of October is a strong possibility especially the date accompanying with iPhone XR launch which will be on 26 October, if not so, the beginning of November is another possibility.

  1. I have Used different different emoji apps and i must say the "MojiMash" app. Which includes various characters to communicate with and app is available in the App Store.
